Hi, I am really confused on questions 7-9 with the whole "calorie" and "energy concepts. Do you still use the same equation c = deltaH / deltaT * mass? If so what does energy value, energy absorbed go into the equation as? How d you find the energy value for kcal/g and kj/g?

You're given energy in calories for a set amount of food, right? But in the problem, you don't eat that much food do you? How many calories are on the amount if food you consumed?

Yes you "absorb" 22 calories and I serving of pasta is 5.5 g but there is no ratio of how many calories there is per serving

Well if your given the mass, 2 g, and volume, 10 L, you could find the volume, g/L, right?

Is this question really that much different?

I guess not. But I'm still confused on what values you plug in for delta H deltaT and c

You're not using that equation, are you?

So you don't even have to use the equation? Is my answer above correct?
